Wizarding World Live in Singapore

As a true Potterhead since 2001, nothing beats the thrill of stepping into the enchanting world of Harry Potter and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Singapore offers an experience that’s nothing short of magical. Whether you’re planning to explore for two days and one night or simply want to get the most out of your short visit, here’s how to make your magical journey unforgettable. It is my biggest dream to go to any Potterhead event around the world and to visit all Potterhead studios, cafes, theme parks and ohhh you just named it! All..!!

It was an unplanned trip. I saw an advertisement on a website that announced a magical event will be held in Resort World Sentosa, Singapore. Actually, this is the 2nd time Singapore held the Potterhead event there. But, this is my first time to join them. Of course i am too excited to go to see wizarding world of Hogwarts live! I booked the ticket as soon as possible to lock the date. I rather go on weekday than weekend to avoid the crowd and just enjoy myself as a Potterhead without any obstruction. I went there by public transport only because i think it is more easy, fast, cheaper and very convenient to access any places. The purpose of this short gateway is for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Live in Singapore.

The morning began softly at 8 AM, when i woke with that familiar flutter—the feeling that only a new adventure can summon. The world outside is waking, but inside me, something else is stirring—adventure. Short trip with full of adventure and excitement. I get ready early so that i can reach to Singapore early. I'm heading to Larkin Central, the gateway to your Singapore escapade. I took bus from there to Singapore. I managed to have a simple breakfast at Subway. I step forward with a bagpack trailing behind me like a loyal companion. With breakfast warming my stomach and excitement in veins, i boarded the Causeway Link Bus CW1, crossing the border and gliding effortlessly toward Kranji MRT. A tap of the MRT Card (your golden ticket for two days of unlimited travel), the gates slide open like entering act of my own movie and just like that—i was in motion across Singapore. The screen flashes: “Singapore. From there, i took another train to go to Marina Bay Sands. Skyscrapers shimmered like polished wands, sunlight danced across the water and the city hummed with life. This was Singapore telling you, “Welcome.” It is rising like a futuristic fortress. The shape of the building will always be my center point of everything in Singapore other than The Jewel. The sun reflecting off its glassy curves & ship-shaped structure beautifully. I also took a tour inside the building to admire the structure and architecture. Few peoples there moving in slow motion while i stand still absorbing every frame and view. I went to the roof garden too. It was nice and green. I took a strolled at the Marina Bay park and went to the famous escalator spot that have the perfect background of Marina Bay Sands building.

After done with the visit, i made my way toward Harbour Front MRT and ascended into the vibrant world of VivoCity Mall. This is the MRT that will connect you to cross to the Sentosa Island. Sentosa Island is famous with a lot of entertainments. You can have lots of fun here. From the VivoCity Mall, I need to find special monorail to go to Sentosa Island. The monorail is located at 3rd level of the mall. I got lucky that day to have free ticket ride of monorail to Sentosa Island. It was special day in Singapore that time but I forgot what is the special day for. The monorail whisked you above water and straight into the heart of Sentosa Island, where fun seems to float in the air. It has 3 stations of monorail at Sentosa Island which is Sentosa Gateway, Imbiah Station, Merlion Station & Beach Station. From RWS Station, i ventured through Imbiah and Merlion Stations. It is near to my hotel. For your information, I stayed at Siloso Beach Resort. However, I took another adventure to try their coolest cable car in Singapore. I am thrilled and excited to try the cable car and see the view of Singapore from above. I took cable car from Imbiah Station straight to Siloso Beach. It is around 10 minutes ride and I got to see the amazing view of Singapore & Sentosa Island. The cable car gliding over water, parks, garden, forest and theme park. I also saw the Singapore skyline shimmering far far away. I could see the ocean too. Finally I reached the Siloso Beach and had a walked to enjoy the serene 15 minutes toward my home at Siloso Beach Resort. I arrived there kinda pretty late afternoon which was almost to evening. The walk to Siloso Beach Resort becomes a sequence of glowing light, sun-kissed pathways and the sound of waves pulling me closer. Along the route to my resort with left and right side of me is green forest and above is cable car route. I love the forest vibe there. It seems peaceful and refreshing which I can here the sound of waves too. The resort is at the middle of forest. It so relaxing with the sound of man made waterfall, water pool and jacuzzi.

After checking in and freshening up, it was time to let the island work its magic. The adventure resets.  I wandered along Siloso Beach and Palawan Beach, balancing between relaxation and exploration framed by an orange horizon. I had a walk by the beach to feel the wind breeze and catch sunset. I wanted to cross the nearby floating bridge to go to another small island to see sunset. The Floating Bridge swayed gently under my steps. The sea beneath glowing with late-afternoon fire. Palms rustled. Sea breeze wrapped around me. The sunset spilled its gold across the sky and i stood right there beneath it—present, peaceful, part of the view. I sat on the seaside rocky area to have a nice spot to witness sunset. The last rays of sunlight painted in a soft gold that filmmakers spend years trying to recreate. Then comes the sunset scene—the camera close on face, eyes reflecting the sky turning from gold to purple to night. Nightfall brought a different sort of enchantment. I continued with other activities. The Magical Shores Show at 7:40 PM transformed the sand into a canvas of lights and movement. Waves shimmered with colors as though enchanted by a hidden spell. The ocean breathes color. Your silhouette stands against a glowing shoreline—mystical, suspended in time. Then i went to the Grilled Festival at Siloso Beach. The savory aroma of the Grilled Festival at Siloso pulled me in for dinner under the night sky—flavors, laughter and that sweet vacation feeling. Darkness settles, but Sentosa comes alive. Cue music and watch the fireworks while having dinner. My stomach was full with delicious food. Next, at Sensoryscape, the lights deepened into dreamlike hues—AR effects swirling through the air between Imbiah and Merlion Stations. The scapes are full of colorful lightings, illusions, shifting colors and shapes around me. It felt like stepping into another realm entirely or dream sequence, one both futuristic and fantastical. The type where the world bends to imagination and expectation falls away. I walked along from Grilled Festival to Imbiah Station and to Resort Word Sentosa to see the night view. It was magical and beautiful. Guess what! i accidently arrived to the venue that i will be going for next day. I got to see the entrance. Ouuhhh! i am so happy & excited so i took a video there as a teaser. Then, i went back to my hotel and grabbed a fresh orange juice by the machine there. So FRESH! It is entirely from the real orange. I really love the machine. I prepared my costume for tomorrow because tomorrow is a special day. Before sleep, i went to swim at jacuzzi for awhile under the night sky & some drizzle that night. It felt calm & peace to relax with that vibes.

Monday morning, i woke at 10am, slow and lazy in that satisfying holiday way. The sunlight slipping through curtains, bags ready, reflection preparing for the moment you've been waiting for. I purposely wore Hogwarts's uniform that day. Complete attire like a Hogwarts's student. After breakfast and checking out of Siloso Beach Resort, my heart was already racing for the highlight of the trip. I took a free shuttle to go to Resort World Sentosa (RWS) from my hotel. Okay cut to the escalators, walkways, signs guiding me into a world i once knew only through movies and books. Lucky me the que was not long. Finally my dream comes true. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Vision of Magic show at Resorts World Sentosa!!!! The moment i stepped inside, the magic ignited. Each of person will get an interactive magic wand to be used inside the studio. You can do magic with it. Floating candles seemed to hover above me. Familiar John Williams scores soared gently in the background during the entrance. The music swells. Quills scribble on parchment. Hogwarts rises in the mist—towering, ancient, alive. Everything feels impossibly real. Hogsmeade rooftops dusted in charm. Gryffindor banners fluttering proudly. The air hummed with spells, secrets, and childhood dreams made real. I didn’t just watch the show—i experienced it. There are 10 zones inside the HP Visions of Magic. The first stop is Knight's Bus - the iconic triple decker bus, then to Grimmauld's Place where Black family's hidden ancestral home, Ministry of Magic (where i experienced to make a call at the famous red telephone booth in the HP movie while hearing Hagrid & Harry voice in the phone call) and Newt's Menagerie of fantastic beasts with full of interactive wands. Scenes appeared as though pulled out of the books themselves: Hogwarts rising through fog, the Forbidden Forest whispering dangers, Patronuses shimmering with hope. A close-up on your face as a Patronus bursts into silvery light. A wide shot of the Forbidden Forest, shadows shifting, creatures whispering secrets. Students’ robes swirl. Spells crackle in the air. For a moment, i was no longer a visitor. I also visited to the Hall of Prophecy to hear whispered ancient prophecies, Chamber of Secrets and the Trap Door Challenge, to Knockturn Alley, The Room of Requirement and The Pensieve. I am part of the Harry Potter universe—wand in hand, heart open to wonder. I used my wand everywhere and anytime in all zones. I am a witch in the story. Lumos. Everything glows. My favorite zone will be the Ministry of Magic, Chamber of Secrets and Trap Door. As i walked through the spaces of RWS afterward, i could feel the magic still clinging me—like traces of lumos glowing faintly in your chest. It was a fun and mindblown adventure with the Visions of Magic at RWS. After done with all the zones, the last part will be huge HP gift shop and to taste the iconic Butterbear which is a MUST! I bought several keychains and fridge magnets from the shop and tried the butterbear. Of course i'm a POTTERHEAD FOREVER! *big grin*

But every journey must find its way home. After completed the vision, i boarded the MRT back toward Kranji Station, then hopped onto the CW1 bus returning to Larkin CentralMy adventure winds down, but the magic refuses to leave skin. Crossing the causeway, i carried with the glowing memories of beaches, lights, spells and the extraordinary charm of Singapore. A short trip, but a story that stays. I didn’t just visit Singapore. I walked its beaches, tasted its festivals, chased its sunsets, and stepped—if only for a moment—into a world where spells spark, stories breathe, and imagination comes alive. And that’s the real magic of travel. The city rushes by in cinematic blurs. Cross the causeway. Back to Larkin Central. Back to reality.

My story doesn’t end. It lives on in every scene i remember...#potterhead To the next adventure of Harry Potter World soon.
